WILLIAM "BOOTSY" COLLINS

WILLIAM BOOTSY COLLINS - BASS SOLO LIVE IN JAPAN - 1993

"Just another point of view, I'm just a reflection of you."

Bootsy Collins Bass Solo (LIVE) - Japan (1993)

William "Bootsy" Collins formed his first group, the Pacesetters, in 1968. The group functioned as James Brown’s backup band and was later dubbed the J.B.’s. If you have never listened to the J.B.'s DO SO because they are one of the most jamming, swinging and energetic ensembles of the 70's!

After teaming up with George Clinton, Bootsy became a vital asset to Parliament/Funkadelic and co-wrote many songs including "Tear The Roof Off The Sucker." There is almost too much to write about Bootsy and his influence and impact in the world of music but there is more to check out on his website if you are interested -  http://bootsycollins.com/about/
